Emergency tarping and full repair after a severe windstorm ripped shingles and flashing off a bungalow near Lundy's Lane.
The Challenge
A late-October windstorm tore off a large section of ridge cap shingles and lifted the flashing around the chimney, allowing water to pour into the attic and down into the living room ceiling.
Our Solution
Our crew arrived within three hours to tarp the exposed areas and prevent further water damage. Within five days, we replaced all damaged shingles, installed new step and counter flashing around the chimney, and sealed every penetration point. We also coordinated directly with the homeowner's insurance adjuster.
The Result
The repair was completed before the next rainstorm hit. The insurance claim was approved in full, and the homeowner avoided any further interior damage.
"They came out for an emergency tarp and had the full repair done within the week. Dealt with our insurance company directly."
